UK based international development agency working as an ally to the disability movements in Africa and Asia. Working from a human rights perspective since 1985, ADD plays a key role in facilitating disabled people to come together to campaign for their basic rights.
This charity helps those people suffering from dementia, to improve their quality of life. They have daycare centres and a helpline. Their staff and volunteers provide support to the carers of sufferers. They also have a research project which investigates the causes of dementia, and looks to find a cure. This is a project which requires sufficient funding, but which has a priceless benefit.
