There are many ways to give to Thyroid UK, as well as merchandise which can be brought. The donations raised will allow Thyroid UK to continue their work in raising awareness of these highly common diseases and helping people to work out if they have a thyroid disease.

May saw the first ever Thyroid Awareness Week, publicised on thyroid sites. So far as I could tell, the media didn’t refer to it. For such a common condition which is often mis/undiagnosed, this is absolutely ludicrous. Thyroid symptoms are rarely life-threatening - but this tiny little gland in the neck can cause tons of problems.
