Regional charity providing care, support, education and housing for people affected by autism. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects the way a person relates to the world around them.
                              
The Wessex Autistic Society exists to help people with autism access good education, housing and services that in turn will help them to develop their social and communication skills, become more independent and lead fuller and more productive lives.
 
The Society operates a residential/day school for children with autism from the ages of three to nineteen, residential and supported living services to adults; respite care to children and families; support groups for parents/carers/people with autism and an information and advice service.
