We are the only patient led charity in the UK specifically for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis, their families and carers.

NRAS was started in October 2001 and since then has rapidly become established as the voice in the UK for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
NRAS aims are to provide support for people living with Rheumatoid Arthritis, their families and carers by:

· Providing support, information and advocacy

· Facilitating the networking of people with rheumatoid arthritis and encouraging self-help

· Raising public and government awareness of Rheumatoid Arthritis

· Campaigning for more funding, equal access to appropriate treatments and better use of existing resources in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
