Grouping Poverty
This is a charity which focuses on the poverty in Ethiopia, working for change. Ethiopia is a country injured by famine, war and a lack of education. Change will allow people to develop the knowledge to be able to become self-sufficient in their agricultural production, aiding them through drought. The charity also helps on various legal and moral issues, for example providing safety for children who are victims of abuse, and providing pensions to the elderly who have no other means of survival. Education is also provided, including a computer laboratory, something which provides education beyond a blackboard. Many of the diseases which we, in the western world, are immunised against, are threats to the people of Ethiopia. The charity has various projects and supports various hospitals in order to reduce the spread of these diseases and treat those who have them.
